The Egyptian National side will be welcoming visitors Guinea to the Borg El Arab Stadium in Alexandria on Sunday for their final International friendly before both teams shift their priorities to the much awaited African Cup of Nations and their opening matches in it.
The home side are definitely tipped to be one of the strongest sides in the tournament and will be confident of topping their group without a defeat. The seven-time African Cup of Nations champions will be looking towards their talisman Mohamed Salah, who has just tasted European success with his club Liverpool, to put an end to their wait for an eighth title.
The visitors, on the other hand, have been struggling lately, especially on the road, and will have a hard time progressing from the group stages of the African Cup of Nations if they continue their dismal form.
The win will certainly be on the agenda for both the hosts and the away side when they meet for their final warm-up match on Sunday.

The hosts are almost certain to come out on top when they clash against the visitors’ Guinea at the Borg El Arab Stadium on Sunday. The home side are currently on a three-game winning streak at home and will be hopeful of a fourth when they head out on to the pitch. They have also managed to keep two clean sheets in their last five games at home.
The visitors, on the other hand, went through a poor run of form on the road, managing just a win in their last five away matches. The away side have also been finding it difficult to find the back of the net, with just three goals on all five occasions.
The home side come into the match, having lost their most recent clash against Nigeria by a goal. However, the fixture on Sunday should be an easy win for the Pharaohs. The Egyptian side have managed to bang in thirteen goals in their last three home matches, and have been consistent in finding the back of the net at least once in the opening 45 minutes.
We can expect the home side to take the lead before the break and surely the win at the end of the ninety minutes.
