Dynamo Moscow earned an immediate comeback to the elite class of the Russian football by cruising past their rivals in the last term of FNL.

Dynamo did not change the squad a lot in between two seasons. They signed Kiril Panchenko and Alexei Ionov from CSKA Moscow, Samba Sow from Kayseri and Toni Sunjic from Stuttgart.
The team shoed impressive attacking form during the pre-season by bagging three goals in the win over Ludogorets and six in thumping of Albanian champions Kukesi.
