Dynamo Dresden vs VfB Stuttgart Prediction
SGD won 2-1 at home the last match-day, against Aue. It was a comeback victory from the part of the hosts, as Aue had scored early in the game, and led for a very long time. However, SGD scored a goal apiece on either side of the half-time break. The visitors did try some rough tactics, which resulted in four yellow and a red cards.
Meanwhile, the Reds lost 3-2 on the road the last match-day, against Kiel. The home team had scored early in the game, and though the Reds tried to retaliate, they had to deal with a red card. Later, they were able to score two goals, but the hosts had added two more as well, and thus Kiel walked away with the three points.
As things stand, the Reds are easily the favorites. They are currently placed in a podium position, and due to the competition provided by teams below them, they have no option but to go after every single point available. On the other hand, we have SGD, placed dead last in the table, and a prominent contender to get relegated at the end of the campaign.
SGD have so far scored a total of 25 goals, while every single other team have scored over 30 goals. Also, the Reds had won the last two h2h clashes in a row, and they had scored two goals apiece as well. In addition, they had recorded four of the prior six such wins too.
Finally, the Reds were relegated from the top flight just this last summer, and as such, they are far more experienced, and well equipped to take on challenges than their counterparts. Likely, expect a convincing win from Stuttgart this Sunday.
