They are now just 90 minutes away from placing themselves in the Europa League mix, and at no cost will they let a team from the lowly Faroe Islands to disrupt their plans.

At home, they have been at their best over the course of the last year. In fact, they have lost just once at this venue since August of 2019, and even that defeat 13 months back had come in the EL.
Meanwhile, their counterparts were winless in two of their preceding five games, and remained so in two of their last three road trips.
Most importantly, their major handicap is the fact that they are from the Faroese top flight, and to further pile on, they are on the road as well.
There’s little to no chance for Thomassen’s men to progress further. Expect Dundalk to record a comfortable win this Thursday.
