Doncaster Rovers vs Bradford City
England – League One
Date: Monday, 19 March 2018
Kick-Off at 19:45 UK
Venue: The Keepmoat Stadium (Doncaster).
Neither Doncaster Rovers nor Bradford City have been enjoying a nice spell of form lately coming into their head to head clash in the lone League One game on the day on Monday at The Keepmoat. The visitors have been on a particularly dreadful thread of eight losses and two draws in last ten league outings.
Such a horrendous form has significantly halted their push for the promotion as the Bantams are well out of the payoffs spots at the crucial period of the season. Not even the change on the bench has brought positives for Bradford as Simon Grayson is yet to shift team’s fortunes around after taking over Scotsman Stuart McCall as the head coach-.
Grayson did avoid a defeat on his debut against Charlton Athletic at The Valley, but back-to-back losses to Plymouth Argyle and Wigan Athletic followed. Grayson’s main problems obviously pop up in the final third since the Bantams have only scored once in three games under his leadership.
Can this awful streak see an end on Monday against the Donny? It’s very hard to say given that the former League Two side has been playing hot and cold throughout the entire season in the higher division. Doncaster will likely save the third tier status (four points above the line at the moment), but their form has seen so many slumps throughput the campaign and one can hardly rely on them from the betting perspective of view.
Doncaster Rovers vs Bradford City: Head-to-head
Doncaster have never managed to see off Bradford City at The Keepmoat Stadium (three draws and two losses in five games).
Donny have clinched the 2-3 win in West Yorkshire when the teams met in the early stages of the League Cup this season.
The Bantams, however, came on tip in the league clash claiming a 2-0 victory at home back in late-September last year.
Doncaster Rovers vs Bradford City: Prediction
Given that neither of the two teams has been impressive lately, backing the clash without a winner looks to be by far the best call here (3.25 odds).
Both teams have been struggling for goals recently and we will alternatively shoot for the low-scoring contest at the odds of 1.85.
