Dinamo Moscow vs FK Krasnodar
Russia – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 10 March 2018
Kick-Off at 13:30 UK
Venue: Arena Khimki, Khimki
There is no much time left for teams like Krasnodar and reigning champions Spartak Moscow to get involved into the race for title. Lokomotiv Moscow have built big advantage in the opening 21 rounds so far. The Bulls from Krasnodar are feeling pressured to win all three points from this weekend’s clash against table strugglers Dinamo Moscow, played in the capital.
Hosts are chasing much needed points in order to escape the relegation zone! In case you are not much into Russian Premier League Dinamo Moscow just made a comeback from tier two division to the elite, but collected only 23 points so far, occupying the 13th position. The main reason for the poor placement is awful record on the road – they won only one game, while six ended as defeats. Goal different is also at terrible 7-15.
Krasnodar are entering this clash in furious style, having won the last four domestic matches. Interestingly, 75% of those were duels in which both them and opponents scored at least one goal. During the last weekend they outclassed Rostov in front of the home crowd 3-1. Key player so far has beed Fyodor Smolov (scored 12 goals).
These two sides have met 11 times in the past and visitors are having small advantage in terms of victories, 5-3. Dinamo Moscow achieved only one win in front of the home crowd in five attempts.
The first match this season was played in August 2017 in Krasnodar. Hosts have won it comfortably 2-0.
Krasnodar have high, the highest ambitions possible for this season and I feel they have the quality to beat Dinamo Moscow. Hosts have been struggling lately. Also, backing Smolov to add another goal to his name is a good choice.
Krasnodar to win @ 2.30
Smolov to score anytime @ 2.20
