ADO Den Haag vs NAC Breda
Netherlands – Eredivisie
Date: Saturday, 27 October 2018
Kick-Off at 17:30 UK
Venue: Cars Jeans Stadion (Den Haag).
ADO Den Haag have been in a fine form in September and their return to Eredivisie after the International break only ended a four-game unbeaten streak for them, where they beat OJC Rosmalen and Groningen as well as held Vitesse and Heerenveen to draws.
Alfons Groenendijk’s men now host NAC Breda for their Matchday 10 clash on Saturday afternoon looking for a return to the winning ways, in the hope they can outclass the struggling rivals at Cars Jeans Stadion and build on the mid-table spot – sitting just a point behind the leagues’ top 7.
NAC Breda have indeed struggled for points and we’ve seen them suffer seven consecutive losses since August, sitting in the relegation zone with just four to their name after nine games played. They have held Willem II to a thrilling 2-2 draw in their last outing and picked it up after through the break, but it’s now questionable whether this will be enough of a confidence booster ahead of the trip to Den Haag.
ADO Den Haag vs NAC Breda: Head-to-head
- Breda have snatched a 0-2 win on their last trip to this ground, in March 2018.
- Den Haag have earned five wins and two draws in seven head to head clashes beforehand.
- We’ve seen two or fewer goals in four of the sides’ last five matchups.
ADO Den Haag vs NAC Breda: Prediction
We do believe we’re in for another narrow occasion here but ADO Den Haag seem to be in a better place at this point and we’ll now back a Home win at 1.75, which looks more like a generous banker bet with NAC Breda’s struggles to earn points and cope with rivals recently.
We don’t believe we’ll see many goals this time around, though, and ADO Den Haag could prove to have too much at the back for the rivals to break them down. We’ll thus also back Under 2.5 goals FT at 2.10, hoping not to see an early goal and both sides holding their own at Cars Jeans Stadion.
