Daniel Sturridge declared himself fit for Manchester City clash

Liverpool forward Daniel Sturridge has declared his fitness and has hailed boss Jurgen Klopp’s style of Play at the Club.

Jurgen Klopp who took the Anfield job from then sacked manager Brendan Rodgers barely a month ago and had seen three draws,three wins and one lost out of seven appearances for the Club.

Sturridge,26, who returned to a full scale training at Melwood on Tuesday this week has not played under the German tactician due to a knee injury he suffered on October 20 upon the arrival of the Coach but he says I’m fit and ready to go’ for Klopp’s side.

“I’m fit and ready to go and it’s going to be a great time for me. It’s been great under the new manager. I’ve been back training for the past couple of days and I was training when he first arrived.”

“It’s an exciting time to be at the club and I’m enjoying working with him and the style of football. It’s important for us to understand what he wants us to do,” he spoke at the launch of the Liverpool FC Retail’s Signature collection at the city Titanic Hotel on Wednesday evening.

The England international has scored two goals in three appearances in all competitions and will be in pole position to start for Liverpool in their crucial fixture against Man City on Saturday, September 21 at Etihad Stadium.

There is also another good news for the Liverpool fans as their captain Jordan Henderson has also returned to full fitness and along with Sturridge, the duo are ready to make their first appearance under Jurgen Klopp.
