Dalkurd vs Elfsborg
Sweden – Allsvenskan
Date: Thursday, 24 May 2018
Kick-Off at 18:00 UK
Venue: Domnarvsvallen (Borlange).
Dalkurd will take on Elfsborg in the 10th round of Swedish Allsvenskan on Thursday afternoon.
The hosts are having a bad start of the season as they are the bottom placed side in the league after first nine rounds. They managed to avoid a defeat just twice and in one of those matches they booked a win. Azrudin Valentic’s side tied four straight defeats and their defence has been one of the weakest in the league.
Elfsborg cannot be proud of their start as they snatched just six points in nine games. They haven’t celebrated a victory in the last five matches and Per Frick and his teammates have troubles in finding the back of the oppositions’ net. The visitors definitely have quality for at least mid-table finish, they just to find their game and start a positive streak.
Since this is the premier season in the top flight for the hosts, these two teams are facing each other for the first time in their history.
Both sides are not performing well lately and it is tricky to predict who can step up and dominate the game. However, the visitors have been a bit better lately and since they have more experience in the top flight, they might get back home with a win from this one.
The defences of these two sides allowed too many goals so far and since they are also capable of scoring, in this match we could see at least three goals in total.
