Crotone vs Torino
2016/17 Italian Serie A.
Date: Sunday, 20 November 2016
Kick-Off: 14:00 UK,
Venue: Stadio Ezio Scida (Crotone).
Torino will hope to continue building on a recent solid streak as they take on Serie A debutants Crotone on Sunday afternoon.
The Granata picked up a confidence boosting 5-1 against Cagliari before the international break. Sinisa Mihajlovic’s side come into this game currently just outside touching distance of a Europa League spot. They naturally will have a good chance to continue building as they take on the bottom-placed side in the division this Sunday.
Torino have no problems scoring, but they also keep conceding. 10 goals scored, 10 goals conceded so far. They will surely be relishing the chance to add more to that total – and for Joe Hart to hopefully pick up a much needed clean sheet this weekend.
Crotone picked up their first ever Serie A win over Chievo, but the Squali are still facing a tough battle ahead. It was their first ever clean sheet as well in the top flight. However, they suffered a major collapse in their last game before the break. For over 80 minutes, the minnows thought they could leave the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza with what would have been an impressive point.
Unfortunately they suffered a huge and catastrophic capitulation that saw them ship three goals without reply. And all their defensive approach, which saw them playing all ten men being the ball proved to be futile. They now will have to pick themselves up if they want to manage to begin the long and difficult quest to avoid making their appearance in the top flight a one season wonder.

Crotone vs Torino: Prediction
Crotone appeared to have turned a corner after drawing and then earning a historic Serie A win. That feeling of confidence soon came undone after losing 3-0 to Inter. Meanwhile, Torino will be relishing the chance to add three more points this weekend after a resounding 5-1 win over Cagliari. For all intents and purposes, the Granata should be able to come out on top here, although Crotone’s knack for scoring at home may cause them an initial bit of trouble.
