Colo Colo vs Bolivar
South America – Copa Libertadores
Date: Wednesday, 16 May 2018
Kick-Off at 01:30 UK
Venue: Estadio Monumental David Arellano (Santiago de Chile)
Colo Colo host Bolivar for their Matchday 5 Group 2 clash on Wednesday hoping to challenge the group’s top 2, sitting just a point behind the Bolivian rivals. They come into the match on the back of a six-match unbeaten streak and we’ll surely see Agustin Sal’s men very motivated on the day too!
Los Albos have been rock solid defensively at Estadio Monumental David Arellano and we’ve seen them concede just one goal in their last three outings here, as they beat Deportes Temuco and Everton and held Deportes Iquique to a goalless draw most recently.
Bolivar have been beaten by Atletico Nacional 4-1 in late April but they have bounced back domestically, earning a draw and two consecutive wins since then. They’ve beaten Nacional Potosi twice in their last two outings but their struggles to retain consistency away from home will surely be very worrying as their trip to Santiago de Chile could see them out of the next round qualifying spots late in the campaign.
Colo Colo vs Bolivar: Head-to-head
Colo Colo have held the rivals to a 1-1 draw at Estadio Hernando Siles midway through March.
They have earned a 2-0 home win over Bolivar in their last clash here, back in 2004.
Bolivar have been a much better side in front of the home crowd.
Colo Colo vs Bolivar: Prediction
