Everton vs Sunderland
English Premier League
Date: Saturday, 25th February 2017
Kick off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Stamford Bridge.
Premier League is back in action this weekend. Whereas Manchester United will have the chance to claim the first trophy of the season (they play the League Cup final with Southampton), Chelsea would make another major step towards the much important league trophy as they host Swansea City on Saturday afternoon.
Beating the only Welsh side in the top flight will be much heavier task at the moment, than it would have probably been a month ago. The Swans have raised their game a lot in the recent weeks and we would not be surprised to see them causing troubles to the Blues at Stamford Bridge.
It’s not time of the alarm bells to ring yet at Stamford Bridge, in spite of the slip up at Turf Moor in the last league fixture for Chelsea. Antonio Conte’s team played only a 1-1 draw on the road, but they are still eight points clear at the top.
Chelsea have 11 consecutive victories on home court. They are super impressive in the final third when they play at Stamford Bridge. Their predator up front, Diego Costa, returned to the old habits finding the net in a comfortable 0-2 win over Wolves last weekend at Molineux.
The visitors escaped the relegation zone with an impressive form. The Swans took three wins in last four league fixtures and they were unlucky to concede the late winner from Gabriel Jesus at The Etihad in the meantime.
Chelsea vs Swansea City: Head to head
Swansea City only have two wins in 13 games with Chelsea, but the Blues have been winless in three of their last head to head matches.
The first game of the season offered one of the rare drops of points for Antonio Conte’s side. Diego Costa had to save a point for the Blues at the end when he completed a brace to make it 2-2 nine minutes from time.
Chelsea vs Swansea City: Predictions

The visitors scored at least two goals in three of their last four outings, while Chelsea conceded a goal in three of their last five home wins.
