Sporting Lisbon is in talks with Corinthians for signing Brazilian striker Alexandre Pato, despite reports of contract agreement with Chelsea.
According to the report by A Bola, the Portuguese side are interested in signing the 26-year old on a loan deal.
But Corinthians are looking to sell him outright after the player has fallen out with the Brazilian club last season.
At the same time, the former AC Milan player has reported to have agreed terms with the Premier League Chelsea for a loan deal for the rest of the season for an option to extend it based on his performance.
Chelsea are struggling in the attacking department with consistent injuries to Remy and Falcao which left them with Diego Costa as the only senior forward in the squad.
