Celtic will face Sparta Prague in a very interesting friendly match on Tuesday afternoon.

Scottish champions are preparing for another successful season, at least in the domestic competitions. Of course, they are going to participate in the Champions League, but it is questionable if they are going to be competitive if they manage to qualify for the group stage.

Moussa Dembele and the lads have already played two test matches which were very tight and they were partially successful in those.

Czech side had a disappointing season as they were not even close to challenging the title although they have invested a lot of money in the signings.

Pavel Hapal took over the bench from Andrea Strammacioni and they are hoping of having a much successful campaign. This will be Sparta Prague’s fourth friendly match and they have been booking variable results in the previous ones.

Celtic vs Sparta Prague: Head-to-head

These two sides met each other once in the friendly match as well and Sparta Prague booked a win in a very efficient clash which ended with 3-2 scoreline.

Celtic vs Sparta Prague: Prediction

Celtic haven’t reached their potential yet and since they were not too convincing in the previous two clashes, we don’t believe they will celebrate in this one. Maybe we can try with a draw here.

Scottish champions have been playing really tight recently and since Sparta Prague had goalless match five days ago as well, we shouldn’t be able to enjoy more than two goals in this one.

Stake shouldn’t be high though as the main interest for both sides is to get in shape. As for the correct score tip and a longshot, we would recommend 1-0 Sparta Prague.
