Cardiff vs Leicester City
English Premier League
Date: Saturday, 3rd November 2018
Kick-off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Cardiff City Stadium.
The win against Fulham last weekend gave the Bluebirds their first 3 points of the season. These two teams are meeting in this top-flight fixture for the first time since 2013.
Perhaps, that win is a great motivation for the team to rejuvenate their performance and team form. We may see more wins from Cardiff. Neil Warnock clearly knows that beating relegation rivals and to at least draw against stronger teams to stay in the Premier League.
Cardiff will thus be highly motivated as they come into this home game. They will strive to come out with something whatever it takes. Frankly, the odds are against them since they are playing a stronger team. Warnock may opt to engage the same XI that started the 4-2 win over Fulham. Joe Ralls will miss his home game for the Bluebirds as he serves the last of his three-match ban. In addition, Danny Ward, Nathaniel Mendez-Laing and Lee Peltier all sit this one out with injury concerns.
This is Leicester’s first game since the unfortunate death of the club owner, Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha who was killed in a helicopter crash last weekend. The unlucky occurrence even saw Leicester’s Tuesday’s Carabao Cup fixture against Southampton postponed.
Therefore, the Foxes return to the business of playing in an away matchup at Cardiff. It may be an emotionally difficult moment for the whole team but they have to come back into business and deliver a win. Notably, Jamie Vardy and Demarai Gray will return to the Leicester starting XI after starting the stalemate against West Ham on the bench. Daniel Amartey and Matty James are the mains injury concerns for the foxes as they hit the road to Cardiff.

The last time the two sides met was in April 2013 where they settled for a 1-1 draw in a Championship League matchup.

Cardiff has not been beaten at home by the Foxes in their last 5 meetings since 2011.
Cardiff vs Leicester: Prediction
Cardiff may have bounced back to find their first win of the season last weekend. However, this matchup may not favor them as much, they are facing a stronger team with a relatively better team form and performance in the last few EPL fixtures. We might see the Bluebirds get the back of the net of their opponents in this game, but we are backing away or draw win with under 2.5 goals.
Cardiff vs Leicester: Betting Tip
