Cagliari vs AC Milan: Match Preview
The Sardinians slumped to their third consecutive league defeat following a crushing 0-4 loss at the hands of Juventus at the Allianz Stadium. The team’s position in the standings remains the same, but fifth-placed Atalanta moved five points clear after a massive 5-0 win over Parma.
Ronaldo Maran’s side will be hoping to return to winning ways when they take on Rossoneri this Saturday.
Cagliari have registered five wins, one draw and three defeats at Sardegna Arena, averaging an impressive 2.22 goals scored per game, whilst conceding 1.56 goals in return. Il Sardi enjoyed six-game unbeaten spell at home prior to 1-2 defeat to Lazio.
Pavoletti, Cragno, Ceppitelli are surely out with injuries; Cacciatore will be evaluated before the game.
AC Milan extended their winless run at San Siro to four matches as they were held to a goalless draw by Claudio Ranieri’s Sampdoria. Stefano Pioli’s men enjoyed 63 percent of the ball possession on Ibrahimovic’s return but failed to convert any of their chances.
As a result, they slipped to 12th position on the ladder, seven points off of Cagliari.
The Rossoneri are hot and cold away from home with four wins and five losses to date, netting a goal per bout whilst conceding Sardi’s numbers – 1.56 per match.
Duarte and Biglia are on the sidelines; Rebic and Rodriguez are questionable for the trip.

Cagliari vs AC Milan: Prediction
The hosts averaged three goals scored per match during six-game unbeaten stretch at home and I’m confident they will get on the scoresheet on Saturday, but their defensive record of late is shocking with 17 goals conceded over the last seven league outings.
WIth that trend, I’m willing to trust AC Milan to end their three-game goal drought.
As for my second bet, i’ll go with an action-packed second half as 25 of 34 goals at Sardegna Arena have been scored after the break and nearly 70 percent of goals in AC Milan road matches came in the second part of the game.
