Venue: Turf Moor (Burnley).
Burnley may not win many fans from around the globe with the way they play. But, the faithful at Turf Moor are making a lot of noise after their team made a brilliant start to the new season. Sean Dyche’s team has been the most tactically disciplined side in the early days of the Premier League season and are sitting at 6th in the league table after negotiating a handful of tough fixtures.
The Clarets are coming on the back of a 1-0 win against Everton which kept their unbeaten run in away games going. The team had previous defeated Chelsea and held Spurs and Liverpool to draws in road games.
Meanwhile, the Clarets start their home campaign with a narrow defeat to West Brom. Since they won against Crystal Palace and drew Huddersfield. The team had an excellent record at home last season and will be looking for nothing less than a win when a struggling West Ham come to visit on Saturday.
The Hammers got hammered in the opening weeks of the season when they lost three on the throat conceding 10 goals. Things have improved since as the team picked up 2 wins and 1 draw from four games. While their lone defeat against Spurs in the period did come after a real fight.
However, West Ham are yet to prove competitive in away games. They haven’t won in four games and a horrendous run of three match losing streak is temporarily halted with a goal-less draw against West Brom. But the team conceded 10 goals in the previous three.
