Burnley vs West Ham United
English Premier League
Date: Sunday, 21st May 2017
Kick off at 15:00 UK/ 16:00 CET
Venue: Turf Moor.
None of the two sides will have the imperative ahead of the last game of the season at Turf Moor.
Whereas Sean Dyche can be happy knowing that his side avoided the relegation, there is a general impression that Slaven Bilic could have done more than a bottom half finish in this term of Premier League.
The Clarets have made Turf Moor a fortress midway through the season. However, the momentum has gone downside since a disappointing home loss to the non-league outfit Lincoln City in the FA Cup.
Burnley have been struggling a lot to find the right shape ever since. They are actually yet to find it, especially at the back since the Clarets allowed at least two goals in four of their last five matches.
West Ham United
The Hammers, on the other side, have been much better defensively as they kept three consecutive clean sheets in fixtures with the likes of Everton, Stoke City and Tottenham Hotspur.
However, Slaven Bilic’s side could not do anything last Sunday when much more motivated Liverpool demolished West Ham 0-4 at London Stadium.
Burnley vs West Ham United: Head to head
The Hammers have been a pretty tough rival for Burnley in the last couple of years.
West Ham will thus be hoping to clinch the fifth straight win in head to head meetings with the Clarets this Sunday at Turf Moor.
Burnley vs West Ham United: Prediction
The bookmakers give more chances to Burnley because of the home court advantage, but we firmly believe that the value is with West Ham United here.
Even though the visitors conceded four goals to Liverpool last weekend, they have been much more solid at the back over the last couple of weeks and we simply have to back them to avoid a defeat in the last game of the season.
