Bulgaria and Bosnia and Herzegovina are going to face each other in a friendly match on Friday afternoon. Both sides failed to qualify for the World Cup and they are looking forward to getting prepared for another cycle of the Euro 2020.
The hosts ended their qualifiers campaign on the 4th place without many chances to challenge for the playoffs spot. They were six points behind Sweden and Netherlands and managed to book four wins in ten matches. Georgi Kostadinov and the lads have been involved in high scoring matches and although they were very productive, they’ve also conceded too many goals. Bulgaria were playing excellent at home and they’ve booked all their victories at home ground. This match will be a good test since the rivals are pretty good.
Bosnia and Herzegovina were in the race for the playoff spot until the very last round, however they’ve finished the campaign two points behind Greece. In their group, Belgium were almost perfect and they won 28 points. Since this campaign is considered as a failure, Robert Prosinecki took over the head coach role. He already has the experience in managing national teams since he was sitting on the Azerbaijan’s bench. The visitors were excellent in front of the oppositions’ goal, however in the last two friendlies they failed to score.
