League leaders Brondby are hosting Hobro in the last round of the regular season. The hosts are looking to remaining on the top spot, while the away side hopes that they can provide the surprise and book a win which would secure them the place in the Championship group.
After a number of disappointing seasons recently, Brondby fans can finally hope that their team can achieve something big. And they are very close to winning the title, but they’ll need to fight a tough battle against Midtjylland. These two sides are equal on the top spot and every win is vital for the hosts. Teemu Pukki and the lads have been very productive in front of the oppositions’ goals, while their defensive work is the best in the league. Brondby are unbeatable at home pitch this season and they have allowed only two points to the visitors. They need to continue their good run and keep the top spot in their hands.
Hobro are one of the biggest surprises of the season, they were predicted to fight for the survival, but they are on the verge of entering the Champions round. However, they have a very tough task since they are two points behind Horsens and they need to book an away win over the best team in the competition. The visitors have been playing pretty tight this season and although Thomas Thomasberg’s side hasn’t scored too many goals, they were very disciplined in the back. Hobro have been doing a decent job when playing away from home where they’ve been defeated only four times.
