Brighton vs Leicester Prediction
Brighton dropped points for the second time in six games after Manchester United registered an emphatic 3-1 victory in their last clash on the road. The hosts failed to make much of an impact in that latter matchup and recorded no more than two shots on target throughout the ninety minutes, which was nine less than their foes.
Graham Potter’s men have been faring a lot better at home though, and have tasted nothing but success in their previous three games here. Be that as it may, that alone does not guarantee a win for them in this one.
Leicester are striving to emulate their 2015/16 success story. The away side are on a five-match winning streak across all competitions at the moment. Their last clash at home saw them pull off a 2-0 win over Arsenal. While on the road, they secured all three points against Crystal Palace by the very same scoreline.
It is also worth mentioning that Leicester are unbeaten in their last two visits to the Amex Stadium. Hence, despite the promising run that Brighton are on, in front of the home crowd, the tag of favorites goes to the visitors this weekend.
Furthermore, the away side have been a handful on the road, with Jamie Vardy, in particular, causing all sorts of trouble in the final third. To pile on even more misery, Brighton will be without their skipper Lewis Dunk, at the back, owing to suspension from picking up his fifth yellow card.
As such, count on Leicester to be keen on racking up the goals tally.
