Brighton vs Burnley
England – Premier League
Date: Saturday, 14 September 2019
Kick-off at 15:00 UK / 16:00 CET
Venue: Amex Stadium (Brighton).
Brighton went into the international break after suffering a humiliating defeat at the hands of the titleholders Manchester City on the road. The squad were at the receiving end of four unanswered goals by the end of regulation time and were subsequently handed their second defeat of the campaign.
The hosts have not been any better in their clashes at home and have so far failed to pick up a win from the two matches that they have played so far.
On the other hand, Burnley have not been able to taste success since their opening day victory over Southampton at home and are on a dismal four-match winless run across various competitions. The away side were thrashed by Liverpool with a 3-0 scoreline in front of their home fans, while on the road they were forced to share the spoils with Wolves after both the teams managed to score a goal apiece.
With either side level on points in the table, expect nothing short of an exciting clash when they lock horns at the Amex Stadium on Saturday.

Brighton vs Burnley Prediction
Home advantage has not been working its charm for Brighton who are yet to pick up a win at home this season. It also needs saying that the hosts have not been able to take down this foe in their previous clashes either and have been admitting defeat in their last two fixtures in a running.
Additionally, Burnley secured the bragging rights the last time the two teams met at this stadium, and have not lost in any of their last three visits here either.
However, the visitors have not got off to the best of starts in the new campaign and have picked up just one point from their last two outings.
So there is certainly reason to believe that Brighton might be able to hold the away side to a draw at the most, as a win for the home team is definitely out of the question.
Two out of the previous three matchups here and three of their last six overall have seen goals down each end. Considering that neither the hosts nor Burnley have kept a clean sheet in any of their last two matches as well, you can certainly count on both the teams to find the back of the net in this one.
