Brann are going to play their first match of the season against newly promoted Bodo/Glimt at home ground on Sunday afternoon. Home side is looking forward to opening the season with a win, while the visitors are searching for a positive result.
The hosts finished last season on 5th place and they missed the chance to qualify for the Europa League spot. Bodo/Glimt have been excellent in every area, and their away performances were very good. In the opening clash of this campaign, they have celebrated a convincing 3-1 win over Lillestrom, in which Kristian Opseth scored twice and continued his excellent form. Their last season’s squad remained intact and they should be able to secure at least safe mid-table position.
