Bournemouth vs Wolves Prediction
Bournemouth had their three-match unbeaten run brought to an abrupt halt last week on the road after Newcastle came back from behind to post a 2-1 scorecard. The defeat was Bournemouth’s fourth of the campaign, leaving the hosts sitting ninth on the ladder with sixteen points.
Their counterparts for the weekend are level with the home side at the moment and are separated only on goal difference. The visitors are currently unbeaten in their last seven Premier League matchups as well, the most recent one being a 2-1 win over Aston Villa at home.
Nuno Espirito Santos’s men have also been known to cause trouble on the road, and have not tasted defeat in their last five top-flight outings. It is also worth mentioning that one of those away games included a stellar 2-0 win over the reigning champions.
Be that as it may, Wolves have not got the better of this foe in any of their previous three trips to this venue. And were also at the losing end in one of those visits.
Furthermore, Bournemouth’s only defeat on home soil came against Manchester City, that too at the start of the season. The Cherries have since been undefeated here, and have picked up the win in half of their last four clashes.
Nevertheless, no other team in the cluster has drawn more games than Wolves. Hence, the safest punt would have to be a double chance backing Bournemouth.
Additionally, Bournemouth have looked solid in their own defensive third, and have kept a clean sheet in their last two games in a running here. Wolves have not been shabby in keeping their foes at bay either, and have conceded just thrice in their previous four trips on the road.
Considering that two of their last three h2h fixtures here have also been low scoring affairs, count on goals to be scarce in this one.
