Bordeaux v Nice
French Ligue 1
Date: Sunday 27th September 2020
Kick off at 12:00 UK/ 13:00 CET
Venue: Matmut Atlantique.
The lunchtime Sunday game will see Bordeaux in 13th place take on Nice in 10th.
Bordeaux have won just 1 game so far which came against Angers away from home so they will be looking to win their first home game of the season.
Though the club come into this one with no wins in their last two games with their last match ending in a 2-1 defeat at newly promoted Lens. Goals seem to be a problem for them with just 3 scored so far though they have only conceded 2 goals.
They had gone into the Lens match yet to let in a goal and Bordeaux’s team this season could be built around defence, if so they might not be the most attractive side to watch.
Nice started very well with 2 wins in a row but they have now lost two in a row. One of those games was against PSG when they were soundly beaten at home by 3-0.
The other was by Montpellier in a 3-1 loss away from home. Can Nice bounce back?
If so they might be able to climb back into the top 8 however a Bordeaux win would see the club move past their opponents.

Bordeaux vs Nice: Prediction
Both teams could do with a win and this looks like it will be a very close match with nothing in it. Traditionally very few goals are scored so one of our choices will be predicting the half time score which offers good value and we can have two choices there.
Our other choice will be to see under 2.5 goals, history strongly points to this. Whilst the game could be unpredictable the fact of the early kick off could also factor in that both teams will not be playing flowing football and therefore we may not see many attacks on goal. Both may feel happy to settle for a point.
