Bolton’s season went downhill in the last few months. Overall the team has been far from impressive in the New Year. Particular reason may be found in the selling of their main man up front Gary Madine. His hold up play and physique were helping the team immensely in the first half of the season. Since then Bolton hardly finds the net.
Wanderers could have made their life much easier last game. The visited Burton in direct clash or survival. Burton are the worst home side along with Sunderland and Bolton somehow managed to lose the game. Two goals in the middle of the first half stunned Bolton and gave their opponents extremely important 3 points.
Nottingham started the season well but could not keep it for long. The team has longed time ago secured its survival after barely staying in the league last season. Managerial changes didn’t improve the sides results and the team finishes overall poor season.
Nottingham should be disappointed after only managing a draw last game against Bristol City at home. They dominated the game but found it hard in the final third. Their last pass and finishing needed to be a lot more precise.
