Bolivia vs Venezuela
Date: Saturday, 22 June 2019
Kick-off at 20:00 UK/ 21:00 CET
Venue: Mineirão (Belo Horizonte).
Venezuela, despite being one of the minnows in this competition, has not conceded a goal yet. They had finished last in the WC qualifiers, and honestly, everyone thought the team came here to just complete the numbers.
But against odds, the group has done themselves proud, but still, they might come up short. They have posted two points from their two games, courtesy their two goalless draws. Their last match was against the mighty Brazil, who is widely accepted as the strongest in the 12-squad roster.
But hope remains. If the players are able to secure a win in this tie, and the hosts defeat Peru in the last group-stage fixture, Venezuela would finish second in Group A.
Bolivia lost both their games so far and conceded three in each. So far they have been able to return just one, and in the last match, they’ll have to produce something extraordinary, and depend on other results to get to the knockouts.
Direct qualification is already out of the question, as two teams in the Group already have 4 on the board, while the Bolivians are stuck at zero. Their only path is to win this game and try to crawl their way into the list of best third-placed squads.

Bolivia vs Venezuela Prediction
Bolivia lost their last five games in a row and failed to score in four of their last five, and six of their last eight. They also conceded three goals each in both of their Copa fixtures, and two or more in their last three ties.
The team is also demotivated, as a direct-qualification is out of the equation for them, and even if they manage to scrape a win, other results will have to occur in a certain way for them to get to the next round.
On the other hand, Venezuela will just need to win this game and hope that favorites Brazil do their expected job in the other game. The group also has the confidence of so far keeping their half of the pitch clean of goals, and especially against the free-flowing Selecao.
Moreover, they have lost just twice in their last ten attempts and is on a streak of three clean sheets in a row.
Importantly, they recorded seven of the last eleven h2h wins, and the last time these two met, the win sided with the Venezuelans, for a 5-0 scoreline. Count on them to have a great day on the pitch this weekend.
