Benzema Out, Lewandowski and Morata In at Real Madrid

Lewandowski joins Morata in the top priority list of players that Real Madrid want to buy at the end of the season, at the expense of Karim Benzema.

The Los Blancos are long time admirers of the Polish international striker Robert Lewandowski. The first attempt to sign him was made during his playing career with Borussia Dortmund. But then, he had made a choice to move to Bayern Munich. Since then, the Spanish club has made two more attempts and the recent one in the last summer transfer window.

And the latest comments from Lewandowski’s agent Cezary Cucharsky, reveals that Real Madrid will be very much in the frame to take him to the Spanish capital next season. Cucharsky reveals that there is ample interest from Real Madrid for the player. But there has been no contact over the past few months, but he is taking Spanish lessons.

Alvaro Moratta has been often compared to Los Blancos legend Raul and Fernando Morientes for his playing style, but is also a fan favorite at the Santiago Bernebeu.

One of the main aspect of Real’s new transfer policy give emphasis on the players home-grown youth players and Morata fit well into this category. The 23-year old Spanish international became an instant hit at Juventus since joining them last season chipping in with goals at vital moments. His quick development with the Old Lady have persuaded Real Madrid to re-sign him when the season comes to an end.

The transfer development is further backed by the comments of FIFA agent Ernesto Bronzetti to the Italian sports paper ‘Tuttosport ‘, Bronzetti, who is regularly involved in Real Madrid transfers says that As far as I know Real’s intention is of taking him back. But we’ll have to see what Morata himself says.”

“You don’t go to Real with reluctance. They certainly aren’t the type of club that will keep those who don’t want to stay with them. Let’s say it’s too early, the situation will be resolved in the next few months.”

Real Madrid could re-sign Morata for a 35m transfer fee due to the buy-back clause included in his clause. Now it’s certain that they will make the move and it all depends on the decision of the player.

With new names coming in, Benzema will be the unfortunate causality and it has been made clear that he would have been already sold in the last transfer window if any buyers would have met Real’s valuation.

The recent scandal surrounding the player is also one of the reasons that will play a key part in the decision to offload the player. Interests are plenty, but it might have to be seen if the player prize takes a decline due to his involvement in Valbuena blackmail allegations.

Cristiano Ronaldo is also tipped to leave the Spanish capital in favor of French Champions PSG, while Chelsea winger Hazard triggered a transfer battle with Real’s arch rivals Barcelona.
