Belgium vs Kazakhstan Prediction & Match Preview

Belgium vs Kazakhstan
EURO Qualification
Date: Saturday, 8 June 2019
Kick-Off at 19:45 UK / 20:45 CET
Venue: Stade Roi Baudouin (Bruxelles).

Kazakhstan got off to a dream start to the qualifying campaign with a shocking 3-0 win over Scotland back in March.

It came out of nowhere as the Hawks had a disappointing run in the inaugural edition of the UEFA Nations League. Kazakhs came only third in their respective group with Georgia, Latvia and Andorra.

Kazakhs thus missed a chance to secure their maiden at a major event through Nations League. They will hardly make the top-two in this qualifying group regardless of the mentioned drubbing of Scotland in the opening Matchday.

Michal Bilek’s men revealed defensive vulnerability in the very following fixture when they fell 0-4 at home to Russia.

Bouncing back from such defeat will be an uphill battle to fight for Kazakhs who travel to Brussels to take on one of the strongest forces in the world at the moment.

Belgium vs Kazakhstan: Head-to-head

Belgium won two and drew two of four head to head matches with Milli.

Teams last met each other in the EURO 2012 Qualification process when the Red Devils picked up two comprehensive wins (0-2 and 4-1).

Belgium vs Kazakhstan: Prediction

Belgium showed strength in a pair of easy wins over Russia and Cyprus at the start of the qualifying campaign. They enjoyed an amazing attacking form with 43 goals scored in 10 World Cup qualifiers.

Given they will be up against a side which shipped four goals in their previous match in March, we can only expect a genuine goal fest when these two likes come across each other.

Kazakhstan finished their respective group at the rock-bottom of the standings in the previous qualifying run (for the World Cup in Russia). They allowed 17 goals in five outings on the road then.

We can only imagine how many they will concede here against one of continent’s deadliest attacking lines.
