Barcelona vs Manchester United
Europe – Champions League
Date: Tuesday, 16th April 2019
Kick-off at 20.00 UK/ 21.00 CET
Venue: Camp Nou (Barcelona).
The Spanish side’s away record has always been their bane, but this time, they actually did not disappoint. For the first time in their history, Barcelona won against Manchester United at the Old Trafford. And, now the tie takes us to the magnificent Camp Nou, where the hosts have been unbeaten for the last five years in the competition.
United did try their best to score at least one goal, but for the first time in a decade, they were kept from recording at least a shot on the target by the monstrous Barca defense. The English team tried to put their counterparts under pressure, reminding them of their Quarter Final curse, where Barca stumbled in four of the last five editions of the tournament. But the potential champions for this season held on.

Barcelona vs Manchester United Prediction
Camp Nou has always been a safe haven for the Blaugrana. Whenever they have been in need, the stadium has taken their side and saw them through to the next round. This time Lionel Messi and co are determined to take home the Champions League trophy.
They have the lead in the aggregate score and has the away goal advantage. Manchester has no option but to attack. And with the returning Ousmane Dembele, Barca will be able to utilize the width of the pitch and put the United defense under pressure.
Moreover, Barca has almost wrapped up their league title and lined up with almost their B team in last week’s league fixture. On the other hand, United is battling to ensure a top-four spot, and cannot afford to relax for a second.
Also, Barcelona has been unbeaten at home in the Champions League, for the longest in history – a streak which is still active. Importantly, United has never recorded an official win at this stadium.
Finally, Manchester lost four of their last six games, whereas Barcelona was unbeaten in 22 of their last 23 official games at the Camp Nou. Expect the hosts to take advantage of United’s desperation to score, and find the back of the net. Also, the in-form Gerard Pique, Clement Lenglet and Marc Andre ter Stegen, supported by the inspirational Jordi Alba, and the young Nelson Semedo, will at no cost allow the visitors to record an away goal – at least in the first 45 minutes.
