Atalanta vs Torino
2018/19 Italian Serie A.
Date: Wednesday 26 September 2018
Kick-Off: 20:00 UK,
Venue: Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia (Bergamo).
Atalanta will hope to turn around their bad form as they take on Torino, and they will be hoping that having picked up a point against AC Milan, they will be able to use that as a spring board.
Securing a 2-2 draw against the Rossoneri will make La Dea happy but they will be desperate for a win. They’ve lost two of their last three fixtures and overall have gone six games without a win. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side will be hoping to make a push for a Europa League spot, but currently sit in 12th with just five points from their first five games. They will need to get back on track quickly if they wish to close the gap on the top five teams, and will be facing a side who also are keen on making it into a Europa League spot.
Torino struggled last term due to the number of draws, and things haven’t gone so well for the Granata so far. Despite securing an impressive 2-2 draw against Inter, Walter Mazzarri’s side have won just one of their first five league fixtures – a 1-0 result against SPAL. They dropped points in a 1-1 draw with Udinese and come into this game having lost 3-1 to Napoli which will have dented their confidence.
Atalanta have managed draws against Roma and AC Milan, but against the Giallorossi they should have won that game. Will Torino be able to rattle them, especially with Andrea Belotti starting to settle in?

Atalanta vs Torino: Prediction
Atalanta will hope to take advantage of a Torino side yet to hit top form. Overall, though, La Dea have not sorted themselves out defensively and have conceded at least one goal in four of their last five games across all competitions. That being said, Torino have a good chance themselves to nick at least a point – or more against a team who have yet to fully ignite.
