Long serving Gunners coach Arsene Wenger admits that it can be frustrating at times when the Arsenal fans criticize him, despite his achievements at the club.
Wenger has spoken out on the frustration of Arsenal fans criticism on him, even with his great achievements at the club. The 66-year old Frenchman has been in charge at Arsenal for almost 20 years and had always maintained a top four finish.
But Arsene Wenger has been criticized in the recent years from many Arsenal fans for their lack of silverware, given that their last Premier League title was in 2003/2004 season.
The Frenchman acknowledged that fans has the right to overreact should their team loose but he stressed that they should also appreciate the good things he has done for the team.
However, Wenger also said he’ll not remain at England should Arsenal show him the exit door, his contract at Emirates runs till 2017, but he insists he’ll only take a job elsewhere but not England if he parts way with Arsenal.
“If, tomorrow morning, I am told, ‘Goodbye and thank you’ by Arsenal, I cannot promise you that I will not look to continue to work, to live my passion,”
Wenger has a total of three Premier League titles and six FA cups as Arsenal manager, but the trophy drought in the current decade has frustrated certain sections of the Gunner’s fans.
