Arsenal vs Liverpool: Prediction
The clash between Arsenal and Liverpool are often a cagey affair. We have seen a thrilling 3-3 draw when they met at Anfield last season. With both teams on serious injury crisis the managers could adopt a more cautious approach.
At the same time, Liverpool’s inconsistency was highlighted in two matches during the pre-season. They had a moment of brilliance when they surprised many by thrashing Barcelona 4-0 at Wembley and were brought to ground by after losing by the same score line to the Bundesliga outfit Mainz.
The Gunners are on a five match unbeaten run against Liverpool at the Emirates stadium, with 4 wins and a draw. Moreover they look like a settled side during the pre-season friendlies. If that form is not deceptive, the Gunners must edge this.
