Arsenal handed a boost as Napoli rejected £23m from Chelsea for Kalidou Koulibaly.

The Azurri are holding a price tag in the region of €40m for the center back, who is also close on extending his contract with his current club

Arsene Wenger is looking to augment his defence and Koulibaly touted to suit Arsenal play.

The former Racing Genk defender is on Arsene Wenger’s wishlist as the North Londoners are looking for more options at defence.

Koulibaly signed five years contract worth €5.25m in 2014 and wants to extend his contract soon if only his annual income will be extended to €2m.

Dani Alves is set to move to another club, according to Barcelona technical director Robert Fernandez.

The 33-year old has enjoyed eight successful seasons with the Catalan side since his €32.5m move from Sevilla in 2008.

He inserted get out clause after 2015 season in his two years contract extension in 2015.

“Alves has already told us he intends to leave the club. We don’t like the fact he’s going.

“His behaviour on and off the field here has been so exemplary and now he’s decided to go.

“The decision is his and we will respect that,” said technical director, Robert Fernandez.

The Brazil international is the second most decorated player in European competitions of all time with nine European medals just one shot behind former Italian and AC Milan defender Paolo Maldini on the all time list.

Neymar is looking to extend his contract at Barcelona.

The 24-year old has three years remaining on his contract and he’s strongly linked with a move to PSG.

“Neymar will reach an agreement with the club and will stay here for many years to come,” Barcelona technical director, Robert Fernandez.

Neymar has formed a strong partnership with Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez upfront for Barcelona winning continental treble of Champions League, LA Liga and Copa Del Rey following his reported €57m move from Santos to Barcelona in 2013.
