Armenia vs Finland
Europe – Euro Qualifiers
Date: Tuesday, 26th March 2019
Kick-off at 17.00 UK/ 18.00 CET
Venue: Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium (Yerevan).
Despite being included in the weakest League D, Armenia failed to impress in the Nations League. They were pitted against the likes of Gibraltar, Macedonia, and Liechtenstein, minnows of world football, and still came up short in the race for the top spot. And now in Group J of the Euro Qualifiers, which includes Italy, Greece, Bosnia etc, chances for qualification to the main event is unlikely.
Finland lost against Italy in the first match-day, and surely will be looking for ways to make up for it. They put on a great show in the recent Nations League competition and topped their group in style. The team conceded just three goals from the whole six matches and got promoted to League B.
Armenia vs Finland Head-to-head (h2h)

- Armenia failed to score in three of the four encounters between these teams.
- Armenia has never scored at home against Finland.
- The combined scoreline for the last four matches is 6-1, in favor of Finland.
Armenia vs Finland Prediction
While Armenia has to take part in League D in the next edition of Nations League, Finland, with some great performances, gained promotion to League B. On top of that, Finland holds a 100% unbeaten record against Armenia and has conceded just a single goal in the four previous h2h encounters.
While Finland holds the upper hand in the upcoming face-off, it isn’t a huge one, and accordingly, a goal-fest cannot be expected. Finland has struggled in some recent games, and for quite some time even when they have won, scorelines were minimal in nature. Ten of their last eleven overall matches and thirteen of their last fourteen on the road had under 2.5 match goals.
Keeping in line with the trend, expect a Finland win, but for a narrow scoreline.
