Armenia will be hoping to back up the fine performances in November’s window of international friendlies and make it three wins on the bounce on Saturday afternoon when they host Estonia in their capital of Yerevan.
The visitors will also come into the game in high spirits unbeaten in last five games. It’s, however, hard to recognize the value of such results for the Estonians given that the opposition included the names of Malta, Fiji, Vanuatu and New Caledonia.
Martin Reim’s side mainly relies on the likes of Mattias Kait and Joonas Tamm who have scored 7 of team’s 13 goals in the WC Qualification campaign. Kait has, however, not received enough minutes on the pitch in this term of the Premiership with Ross County. Team’s main star is Liverpool’s center-back Ragnar Klavan. After conceding 13 goals in opening two fixtures on the road (against Bosnia-Herzegovina and Belgium), Estonia have kept their net untouched in last three qualifiers they’ve played away from home (against Greece, Cyprus and Gibraltar).
We doubt the Estonians will keep their net untouched here against Armenia who have been playing ultra-attacking football in the last couple of years. Three of last four qualifiers they’ve played on home soil saw both teams on target and three or more goals, while the team has bagged an impressive seven-goal tally in back-to-back wins over Belarus and Cyprus in November’s friendlies.

Estonia have been slightly more successful winning two, drawing one and losing one of four so far, but both of their victories came on their soil.
