Dinamo Brest vs Apollon Limassol Analysis for Prediction
Apollon Limassol has one foot in the play-offs after a thumping 4-0 win in the first leg of this tie.
Dinamo Brest, who never won a Europa League qualifying tie, tasted their first victory this season against Greek side Atromitos. Still, it wasn’t convincing with the final aggregate score reading 5-4.
The Belarus based outfit paid heavily for poor defending against a compact unit like Apollon and the four goals conceded means they have no way back in this tie.
Apollon’s away record in Europe is a bit inconsistent, but I do not see this as a problem. They have a good scoring record and a team like Dinamo is most likely to concede.

Dinamo Brest vs Apollon Limassol Preview
Dinamo Brest managed a last-gasp equalizer seven days ago at Stadio Peristeriou to eliminate Atromitos and set up the third round meeting with Cypriot Apollon.
It was a thrilling tie in the previous round for the Belarusian outfit who won the first leg 4-3 on the home patch. They conceded the 80th minute goal from Georgios Manousos and were just moments away from finishing the European journey before substitute Pavel Nekhajcik bagged the leveller in the fifth minute of added time to send his team through to the next round.
Dinamo will once again be underdogs as they take on Cypriot Apollon, but can they pull off another upset here?
The Cypriot team will be a very serious opposition who have played the group stage of the competition last year.
They had troubles in the inaugural fixture with Lithuanian Stumbras, losing the first leg 1-0 on the road, but managed to come back and pull off a 2.0 victory in the return outing in front of the home crowd.
After edging past Stumbras, Apollon were expected to have a more challenging task against Bosnian runners-up Zeljeznicar.
However, the Cypriot side stormed past their second round rivals netting five goals in two games and they come into the Brest tie high on confidence targeting another group phase appearance.
Dinamo Brest are midway through the season in the top flight of the Belarusian football, but things are not quite as planned there for Aleksey Shpilevsky and his men. They only sit seventh in the league standings after 27 rounds of the competition.
Keeping things tight at the back is the biggest of issues for the visitors who conceded at least a goal in all of last five games across competitions.
Knowing they’ll be up against a stronger opposition here, we have to go with the home win and Apollon to score two or more goals as main betting options.
