Sao Paulo travel to Estadio Raimundo Sampaio for their Matchday 7 clash on the back of a nine-game unbeaten streak across competitions, including a great 1-0 home win over Santos last week. They now hope to build on the success but we have seen more troubles bagging points on the road –as Diego Aguirre’s men earned just four draws on their last four trips.
America MG, on the other hand, come into the match just days after their Copa do Brazil clash at Palmeiras – looking to overturn the advantage from the first leg and build on a narrow 1-0 win over Botafogo earned in Belo Horizonte.
They have been a tough side to beat at this ground and we’ve seen them bag three wins in four home games, regularly netting goals and putting on solid defensive displays. Sao Paulo have failed to find the net in two of their last four trips and the home side will now hope they can capitalize on such woes and hold them off once again.
