They’ve proven themselves as a tough defensive outfit but failed to capitalize on it, which should have them pumped up for a strong start here.

Blue and Whites have played just one game in 2018 and this could prove costly, though, as many question their fitness and dressing room atmosphere, but we don’t feel Albania are in a better shape at this point – with a very tough challenge looming.

Albania come into the match after an underwhelming finish of their World Cup campaign too and failed to really bounce back despite a 2-3 win over Turkey in November, where they suffered losses to Norway, Kosovo, and Ukraine earlier this year.

They’ve netted just one goal along the way and this could be even more worrying for Christian Panucci, as they seek to make an impact in League C Group 1.

Albania vs Israel: Head-to-head

This will only be the third head-to-head clash for the sides ever.

We’ve seen them bag one win each so far, with Israel bagging a 0-3 win at this ground in 2016 but Albania taking revenge in Israel with a 0-3 win in 2017.

We now expect a more narrow occasion as neither of the sides get to underestimate the rivals.

Albania vs Israel: Prediction

We will now stick our necks out for Israel to build on the success from 2016 and snatch at least a point at Elbasan Arena once going, going for a Double Chance – Draw or Away win at 1.72.

We’ve seen both sides struggling to impress in the attacking third but we do feel we’re in for shared spoils on the day.

Seeing their woes to score goals on the regular, we’ll now also go for their first low-scoring contest on the day, backing Under 2.5 goals FT at 1.50.

We have already said both sides haven’t really been on their best form up front recently and this does seem like a real banker bet at this point.
