Eight-placed Rossoneri, currently riding a three game winning streak in the league, welcome in-form Hellas Verona, unbeaten in five Serie A matches, to the iconic San Siro on Sunday.
AC Milan vs Hellas Verona: Match Preview
The resurrected Rossoneri extended their winning streak in the league to three games following a narrow victory over Brescia at the Stadio Mario Rigamonti, thanks to Ante Rebic’s second-half winner.
As a result, they moved up to eighth place on the Serie A ladder, levelled on points with two teams and eight points behind Champions League spot occupants Roma. They come into this game on high spirits after beating Torino (4-2 AET) in the midweek Coppa Italia clash.
Milan have logged three wins, four draws and three defeats at San Siro this season, netting a goal per game and conceding 1.20 in return. Three of their last five home games failed to produce a winner (1-3-1).
Hellas Verona are enjoying a decent run of their own as they stretched their unbeaten run to five games after a comprehensive 3-0 victory over struggling Lecce.
Ivan Juric’s men have earned eleven points during that span (3-2-0) and remained in ninth position with eight wins, five draws and seven losses, two points off their next opponent. The Scaligers will be looking to produce an upset at San Siro.
The Sunday’s guests have collected eleven points from nine games away from Marc’Antonio Bentegodi, averaging 1.11 goals scored per match and shipping slightly more – 1.22.

AC Milan vs Hellas Verona: Prediction
We’re in for an interesting clash between two in-form teams with AC Milan being odds-on favourite to claim the win.
The Rossoneri have improved immensely since the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic and the formation switch to 4-4-2, and I have to give them an edge in this one, but I reckon they won’t have an easy ride.
The visitors are a well-drilled side and I fully expect them to fight back and find the back of the net – they have scored at least one goal in each of their last eleven league matches.
With a 2-1 hunch, I will pick goals on both ends and a home win.
