AC Milan vs Torino: Match Preview
A heartbreaking defeat to arch-rivals Inter in the Derby Della Madonnina had no effect on Stefano Pioli’s side as they put in a strong performance in a 1-1 draw against Juventus in the first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-finals.
The Rossoneri had more of the game, recorded eleven shots on target as opposed to Juve’s four, but were unlucky to concede a late equalizer.
ACM have earned eleven points from their last six league matches and will be looking to get back on winning ways on Monday when they host Toro just three weeks on from their Coppa encounter at this venue.
Tenth-placed AC Milan have posted three wins, five draws and three losses at San Siro this season, averaging a goal scored per match, whilst conceding 1.18. Four of their last five home games failed to produce a winner.
The Granata slumped to their fourth consecutive Serie A loss with a 1-3 home defeat to Sampdoria on Moreno Longo’s debut. The once defensive-stable Torino has suddenly forgotten how to defend, having conceded sixteen goals during their current losing streak.
They are in thirteenth spot on the Serie A ladder, eight points above the dropping zone.
Torino have registered four wins, one draw and six defeats away from Olimpico, netting 1.45 goals per bout on average and shipping 1.82 in return. They have taken seven points from their last five away games.

AC Milan vs Torino: Prediction
AC Milan are huge favourites for a reason – they’re playing at home and Torino are dreadful at the moment. If they can keep Andrea Belotti quiet, I’m confident they will claim their tenth victory of the season.
With a 2-0 or 2-1 scoreline hunch, I will take the hosts to net two or more. The Granata’s defence is shockingly bad right now, and with Izzo banned, they will have a very difficult time containing the likes of Ibrahimovic, Rebic and Rafael Leao.
