Aalborg vs Nordsjaelland
Danish Superliga
Date: Friday, 18 May 2018
Kick-Off at 17:00 UK
Venue: Aalborg Portland Park (Aalborg).
Aalborg are going to face Nordsjaelland in the 35th round of Danish Superliga on Friday afternoon.
The hosts are having a decent season as they managed to find their place among the best six teams in the regular season. They are participating in the Championship stage, however they don’t have any chance of snatching one of the places in European cups. Morten Wieghorst’s side managed to break a four-match winless streak with a victory over Copenhagen last weekend.
Norsjaelland are fighting for the 3rd spot and the participating in Europa League next season. They have the same number of points as Copenhagen and this match is of great importance for them. After being defeated three times in a row, Ernest Asante and the lads managed to get back on winning track after beating Horsens. The visitors are one of the most efficient sides in the competition, while their defending cold have been better.
Nordsjaelland managed to remain undefeated in the last four clashes against Aalborg and also book two victories. Their head to head matches are very efficient and the crowd was able to see goals in both nets six times in a row.
The hosts don’t have any special motivation for winning in this clash, except providing a good display for their fans. On the other hand, if Nordsjaelland wins, they’ll remain in the race for the 3rd spot, so we believe they are going to get back home with three points in their pocket.
We are going to stick with the tradition in this one and although Aalborg have not been very efficient this season, this match should also end with goals in both nets.
